Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Will work for project leader to maintain and enhance driver and DLL/shared library (product API) using C/C++ under Win32 and Linux. Will contribute to determining and enhancing the system scalability and performance. Will contribute to system functional validation by enhancing and maintaining the unit test validation suite.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: · Strong C/C++ programming skills
· Experience with and good understanding of Win2000/WinXP/Linux internals
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Adherence to ISO and best engineering practices
· Ability to predict development time and test requirements based on requirement specifications
· Ability to work on a team with firmware developers, hardware developers, release management, QA, and marketing
· Experience in Computer Telephony is desirable
· Knowledge of PSTN, ISDN, and call control
· Ability to formulate means of validating functionality for each specified feature
Education and Prior Work Requirements: BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Four to five years of experience developing software for real time applications.
