Job Summary:
Responsible for definition, development, implementation and maintenance of test applications used to validate Ai-Logix's call recording software APIs. Test applications will be developed in C/C++, scripting languages(TCL, PERL, EXPECT) and SQL using product specifications and standards documents. Will participate in the testing of software releases using both manual and automated test tools. Defect management tools will be used to report and track defects in product and associated literature.
Job Requirements/ Education:
· Excellent C++ programming skills including working knowledge OOP and STL
· BSEE, BSCS or equivalent work experience.
· Background or experience in Computer Telephony desired
· Experience with Windows (NT, 2K, XP) internals (WIN32)
· Experience with LINUX (RedHat, SuSe) internals desired
· Strong problem solving/analytical and debugging skills.
· Excellent interpersonal/communication skills/ ability to interact with customers
· Experience with Database (SQL, DB) and Scripting languages (TCL, PERL, etc)
· Must be well organized and detail oriented.
· Experience with defect tracking software such as PVCS Tracker, Rational, etc…
· Good knowledge of PSTN, Voip networks and call control a plus
· Automation experience in a software (non-web) or hardware environment desired
· Multithreaded application development under Windows (LINUX desired)
· VXML, XML, JAVA, H323, SIP, MGCP, PBX knowledge a plus
