Staff Accountant

Summary of duties and responsibilities:
The staff accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks and duties within all functioning areas of the Accounting/Finance department. In addition, person will serve as backup for certain accounting functions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Process A/R and A/P
· Reconcile account balances and research open items
· Respond to documentation requests
· Reconcile bank accounts
· Assist in Inventory control
· Assist in end of month closing
· Special projects

Education and Prior Work Requirements:
· Degree in accounting or 4 - 5 years related work experience
· Experience in financial analysis
· Familiarity with integrating accounting software preferably Oracle as well as proficiency in Excel and Word

Candidates that meet the above requirements and that are currently authorized to work in the US will be considered for this position.
