Software Engineer

Summary of duties and responsibilities:
The Software Engineer will maintain and enhance driver and DLL/shared library (product API) using C/C++ under Win32 and Linux. Responsibilities include determining and enhancing the system scalability and performance and contributing to system functional validation by enhancing and maintaining the unit test validation suite.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain QT GUI Applications
· Analyze and solve SmartWORKS issues
· Follow ISO procedures and best engineering practices
· Work on a team with firmware developers, hardware developers, release management, QA, and marketing
· Formulate means of validating functionality for each product feature
· Execute testing for Senior Developers

Education and Prior Work Requirements:
· BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
· 1 to 2 years of experience developing software for real time applications
· Good C/C++ programming skills
· Understanding of Win2003/WinXP/Linux internals
· Experience in Computer Telephony is desirable
· Knowledge of VoIP, PBX, PSTN, ISDN, and call control
